KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Nationals weekend has finally arrived, and the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling men’s and women’s team are ready to take on the summer heat in Knoxville, Tennessee for three days of racing against the nation’s finest.
QUEBEC – After five hard days of racing, Serghei Tvetcov and the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling team came away with third place overall and the points jersey at the 32nd edition of the prestigious Canadian UCI stage race, Tour de Beauce (2.2).
QUEBEC – Serghei Tvetcov crushed the competition at the Tour de Beauce individual time trial, winning the morning stage and taking over the yellow jersey ahead of Adam Roberge by 20 seconds heading into tomorrow’s 70 kilometer criterium.
ARLINGTON, Virginia – Former U.S. national criterium champion Eric Marcotte shot to the first win of his season this weekend at Armed Forces Cycling Classic’s Clarendon Cup. The 100-kilometre circuit race was a battle of attrition, wearing down half the peloton while Marcotte and his teammates covered moves at the front of the race for Colombian sprinter Carlos Alzate.
QUEBEC – The UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling women’s team dominated proceedings at Thursday’s GP Gatineau, displaying superior teamwork and launching Lauren Hall into perfect position to sprint to victory.
